How do I schedule a class?
Contact us and we will be happy to schedule a class that fits into your schedule. Many companies have a set schedule of classes, but at LifeSavers we book classes any time by appointment including nights and weekends.
What is CPR?
CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) is a lifesaving skill utilizing two crucial elements to help sustain a victim until advanced medical help arrives. The two crucial elements are Chest Compressions (pushing on the chest) and giving ventilations.
What is an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)?
An AED or Automated External Defibrillator is an advanced piece of medical machinery designed to be easy to use and save lives. An AED analyzes and delivers an electric shock to a heart in fibrillation. When a heart experiences fibrillation, it cannot effectively circulate blood to the body, especially the brain. The defibrillating shock will re-set the heart, possibly setting it back into a normal rhythm however, the victim will likely still need CPR.
Who needs CPR training?
Absolutely EVERYONE should be trained in CPR and the use of an AED. The more people who know how to save lives, the better we’ll all be!
What jobs require CPR Certification?
Emergency Responders in an office.
Health Care Providers (Nurses, Dentists, Dental Assistants, Physical Therapists etc.)
Laborers who are required to have OSHA approved emergency training.
